Revenues of the Organising Committees of the Summer Olympic Games

Title: Revenues of the Organising Committees of the Summer Olympic Games Objectives: The main objective of this work is an analysis of the main revenues of the particular Organising Committees of the Summer Olympic Games. The ticketing is primarily analyses in this work. The second objective is to adjust and calculate a mechanism for transfer of currency. Values in national currencies are converted to CZK 2010, these values reflect the true value of what would have been payable in 2010 if the Olympics Games were held in the Czech Republic. Methods: The work uses methods of secondary analysis of documents for the data collection. The basic aggregate consist of the Summer Olympic games held 1896-2008, the estimates from London (2012) and Prague (2016,2020) are add to comparison. Variables are: revenues of the OVOH, revenues from television rights, revenues from a sponsorship, revenues from the TOP, revenues from ticketing, the average price of the sold ticket, the most expensive and the cheapest tickets at the Opening ceremony and number of the total sold tickets. The convert mechanism is used for convert and calculated with the exchange rates, the purchasing power parities and the consumer price index. Title: Marketing research of advanced technologies application in communication with the sport event visitors Objectives: The aim of this work was to determine, which form of advertising is the most effective. The other aims were searching for the preferred method of ticket purchasing and giving substantial information regarding sponsorship booths . Anyway, the main goal was the marketing research on the use of advanced technologies as a platform for future opportunities in tickets purchase. Methods: According to the topic, the Bachelor thesis is based on theoretical knowledge. A survey questionnaire as a method of marketing research was applied to determine the willingness of using advanced technologies. The results are captured in tables, charts or box-plot. Following analysis of these results shows the current state of the topic. Results: As there has not been any marketing research on the topic done yet, this research is the first one and therefore unique and very beneficial. The Czech sport marketing agency Česká sportovní a.s., as a sponsoring autority, should benefit from the research in following areas - promotion, ticketing and sponsorship. Baumol's cost Disease in Czech Regional Opera Theatres

This thesis examines the existence of Baumol's cost disease in Czech regional opera theatres. The study is divided into a theoretical and an empirical section. The theoretical section deals with Baumol's concept of cost disease and its impacts on a theatre, externalities arising from a theatre's operations, public subsidies, demand for arts and ticket prices and their impact on the theatre's income. The empirical section analyzes the existence and scope of the cost disease in selected theatres (Divadlo J. K. Tyla in Pilsen, Severočeské divadlo in Usti nad Labem, and Jihočeské divadlo in Ceske Budejovice). The examination has revealed the presence of the cost disease in all the theatres; however, the scope and the impact of the cost disease differ significantly from theatre to theatre. On the basis of these findings, the study concludes that theatres may counteract the cost disease by offering an attractive theatrical product, which allows for a continuous increase in revenues from ticket sales.

The main goal of my Master's thesis is to complete , update and deepen the knowledge acquired in courses of Logistics and apply them on a specific example with respect to the discipline (trnsport mode). The whole work is focused on the issues associated with the transport solution for company which dealing with foreign goods. It is a topic that conceals a wide range of theoretical and practical knowledge and skills focused on issues that are the most important for importer as I think. I devoted primarily transport-legal relations ( transport operators , transport contracts , transportation conditions - INCOTERMS , etc.), transport documents relating to shipping from Canada to the Czech Republic , customs and especially the issue of the maritime transport, when I focused on transport unit pricing , the issue of the bill of lading and in fact the whole process from booking of shipping space to unload . My goal is to prepare such a transport solution that would bring BEL, spol . s r.o. reduce the costs associated with it.
